Artist Biography: Jennie Furness is an emerging artist, painting both landscape and still life in oils. After a twenty year career in child rearing, a serendipitous and inspiring trip to Maui began her quest toward learning to paint. She was told "you have to be willing to paint 500 bad paintings" and thought to herself, "That, I CAN do!" Summer plein air workshops, several mentors and private teachers gave way to commissions, shows and the joy of calling herself "Artist." Jennie is a 1999 graduate of Brigham Young University in Family Science, is raising four amazing kids and has one fantastic husband.
