From the hillside estate of Fontanasanta (meaning ‘holy water’) comes the Foradoris' Nosiola, an ancient, native grape variety traditionally fermented on its skins. A model of purity with zesty tropical citrus and brisk acidity up front, this gives way to an array of exotic inner florals and hints of raw honey, sweet spice mixed with nectarines and wet stone. It's remarkably fresh, leaving candied lime to contrast with sour melon and your wine glass empty all too quickly. The texture is suave and silky, the finish long and lingering, the balance immaculate.
