Monterosso Rosso Sisma 2018

Specificity of place and vintage character are first priorities for the boys; an earnest attempt to capture a snapshot of time, an accumulation of a season's work, weather, soil, and exposure, all packed into a grape and then trapped in liquid form. Earthy aromas of smoke, iron, and crushed black stones mix with dark cherry and cassis on the nose. On the palate, the flavors are framed by ripe, firm tannins, with bursts of earthy red plum and blackberry/raspberry fruit.
