The wine is aged in a 750-liter barrel for 16 months before being bottled unfiltered and held for 6 more months before release, and produced in extremely limited quantities. Ruby red, dark and rich with ripe, sweet fruit tempered by notes of licorice and a bitterness reminiscent of the finest Modica chocolate.
