Lightweight Large Arbor Speed. Dependable Carbon Drag for Heavy-Duty Performance.
The Redington Run 7/8 is engineered for the angler who demands lightweight performance and rapid line retrieval without a heavy price tag. Designed with an ultra-large arbor and a non-machined, die-cast aluminum construction, the Run provides quick line pickups when hard-fighting fish turn and run directly at you. Equipped with a reliable, smooth carbon fiber drag system, this reel is a versatile option for heavy freshwater, light saltwater, or streamer setups.
Why You Need This Reel
The Redington Run is built for anglers looking for maximum line retrieval speed and low physical weight on 7-weight and 8-weight setups. The unique, ported die-cast design keeps the reel exceptionally light in hand while maintaining structural rigidity. Its smooth carbon fiber drag system delivers consistent, stopping power to protect tippets and slow down powerful runs.
